Centennial Ventures’ investment process begins with a preliminary screening of the management team to determine if they have the capability to build a successful business. Concurrently, an analysis of the market, competitive landscape of a product or service is performed to determine if there is a compelling business opportunity. If the initial analysis is favorable then detailed due diligence begins. The first step is an exhaustive evaluation of the management team, with particular emphasis given to the CEO. Second, we examine the market dynamics, customers, competition, growth and return potential, and capital requirements of the business. We then scrutinize the prospect’s ability to execute, which is gauged by the quality of the company’s operating systems, operating plans, and management team. Our investment process is extremely thorough as we work closely with the management team
to evaluate investment opportunities. Additionally, this is the time when a long-term working relationship between the management team and Centennial’s investment
team is established. |
